sea creature
with audio 🌊🌊🌊
The sea birthed you, its salty placenta
unburdened you to the swell,
Slick like an oil spill
she bled you into her
swirling tides
Selkies sang you home
The moon lit your path
She wept as she watched you go
On land
you carry the sea, in your veins
Seaweed trails in your wake, I find it in your hair
Samphire seasons your skin, to taste
Curled in your arms, my face sealed to the crook of your neck
I hear the roll of the waves
the howl of the deep
I wonder when she will call you
Knowing you were never mine to keep.

This is gorgeous I could smell sea air when I read this 💕
This is stunning...straight out of an ethereal fairytale especially with your voice 🩵💜
